
Openmoko has decided to launched its Neo FreeRunner mobile phone starting from July 7. The device is runs under GNU/Linux plus an applications for dialing, SMS and recording contacts.
The Neo FreeRunner features 2.8-inch 480 x 640 VGA touchscreen, Wi-Fi (802.1 1b/g) and Bluetooth connectivity, A-GPS, GPRS 2.5G, dual 3-axis motion sensors, 128MB of WSDRAM, and 256MB of NAND Flash. It will be available in two version: 850MHz or 900 MHz Tri-band GSM network direct from Openmoko’s site and/or through distributors in the EU, India and North America with a price of approximately $399.

SK Telecom has added the HTC “Touch Dual” 3G smartphone to their network distribution. Sporting a stylish pure white color design, the phone packs a 2.8-inch touch screen display with an overlaying GUI called ‘TouchFlo’, lets the customers to swipe through media libraries and provides scrolling for web pages or documents, HSDPA and Bluetooth connectivity, 2 megapixel camera, and microSD memory card slot. The Touch Dual expect to available next week with a price tag of 600,000(KRW).

T-Mobile has added the Motorola ROKR E8 phone for their network distribution. It features a 2-inch 320 x 240 display, a touch-sensitive scroll arc, a 2GB of internal memory, microSD memory card slot, Bluetooth connectivity, and supports to playback WMA, AAC, AAC+, MP3, WAV, and RealAudio files. As an additional features include built-in FM radio, Web browser, 2 megapixel camera, integrated FM radio, and CrystalTalk noise-reduction technology. The ROKR E8 will be available at T-Mobile retails store from July 7th with a price of $199.99, including two-year services agreement.
