Asus has rolled out its latest Windows mobile smartphone, the Asus P565. The device are powered by a 800MHz Marvell processor, a 256MB flash memory, and 128MB SDRAM. The integrated GPS receiver, WiFi radio, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, microSD card slot, and 3 megapixel camera all add to the overall “high-endness” of the package. The P565 also support Tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE 900/1800/1900 MHz, UMTS / HSDPA 2100 MHz (3.6 Mbps) network.
Folks looking for a Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 wannabe cell phone, you might take a look at the Sany Ericssan A8000i. This 8-megapixel camera phone features 2.8-inch display screen, mp3/mp4 playback, bluetooth connectivity, microSD (TransFlash) , integrated TV Tuner and FM radio, and runs on Tri-band GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 Mhz network. Samsung officially announced in Korea the T*OMNIA cellphone which it become the Korean Version of its popular OMNIA phone, featuring Satellite DMB function, A-GPS, Push e-mail functions, Mobile Instant Messenger, e-dictionary, and business card recognition. Other features are similar with the OMNIA, including GSM Quad-band (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) with 7.2Mbps HSDPA support, and 5 megapixel CMOS sensor with Auto Focus, Flash, and Image Stabilizer.
MetroPCS has received the ZTE’s C79 clamshell handset for their network distribution which supports CDMA on the MetroPCS’ 1700 MHz AWS frequency band. The highlight features include a 220 x 176 primary display, a 69MB of internal memory, stereo Bluetooth connectivity, an external music controls, and audio / video playback. No idea on pricing, but it is a luxury phone and off course the price would be going above $1000.
